Today I did some preliminary literature review for test-retest reliability work on self-efficacy scales in our population. If we wish to test the reliability of our health care provider self-efficacy scale over time, as opposed to the internal consistency of that scale, we will need to specifically test for it.

So far, it appears that in this population and regarding self-efficacy scale test-retest reliability - two weeks is the amount of time often used between measures. We need to continue to assess how such reliabilities have been previously tested, as we don't want memory/the effects thereof to interfere with our reliability assessment.
