...on being in the control group

I will add another bonus to joining this project via the control group - if you have not yet participated in research as an RA - this is a good way to see, through this blog and your participation in the assessments, what the research process is like in a more meaningful way than merely reading about it third hand or hearing colleagues talk about it.

It is therefore a good way to get your research feet wet, so to speak, and I am confident there is a way to note such participation in your Vita as well, such as the following - courtesy of Dr. Stadtlander:
